The glass appears in the factory's catalogue from 1853 and is described as having been sold undecorated

Æggeformet snapseglas fra 1800 tallet Drikkeglas Før 1955 var glasset entenHeight 9 cm. The model is made at both Holmegaard Glassworks as "Snaps Glass No. 70" and from Aalborg Glassworks as "Snaps Glass No. 5". It is mouth blown with a clear sharp bend at the bottom and with fine lines in the glass. It is in perfect condition.
