Serges have been produced at Val Saint Lambert in Belgium since the 1870s and were briefly produced at Holmegaard during World War I and immediately after. The glass originates from Val Saint Lambert in the 1960s. The glass is cut on a form called Werner, which is decorated in several versions, of which this cut is called Serges.
