This chubby vase was designed by Per Lütken for Holmegaard in 1963 and was discontinued together with Safir in the 1970s

a neck that is ground with rings so that the downward ribs look like spikes

Barrel glass appears in Danish glass catalogs from 1850 until the 1920s

but is otherwise in good condition

The majority of Carnaby was designed by Per Ltken, and individual parts were designed by Christer Holmgren, including this vase. The series was made for Holmegaard, and it was in production from 1968 to 1976. The vase is in good condition.
