Montemercurio Grappa di Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Rosé Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon blend aged 18Montemercurio's grappa is distilled from the lees from their Vino Nobile wines. After a gentle pressing, it is distilled over a water bath, and the distillate is now stored for 10 12 months in small oak casks, which were previously used to store Montemercurio's Vin Santo "1986". The result is a grappa with a nice amber color, with hints of orange. The aroma is ripe fruit, honey, tobacco and cocoa. The taste is very persistent with a sweet finish
