Seiser Alm - är världens största högalpina äng i Sydtyrolen- BAKGRUNDSTEXTRUM The Magic wood by DovSeiser Alm (in Italian: Alpe di Siusi) is the largest high alpine meadow in the world, located in South Tyrol in northern Italy (Alto Adige). It lies at an altitude of approximately 1,8002,350 meters in the Dolomites and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The name comes from Ladin Tyrolean and roughly means "lake meadow" or "the meadow by the lake" Seis refers to the nearby village of Seis am Schlern.
