It contains fine pieces of coconut and has a natural layer of coconut oil on top. It is sweeter than pure coconut oil and has a texture best described as "coconut crumb dough". Perfect for desserts and cooking when you want a creamy texture, but for frying, coconut oil is a better choice. Try mixing the butter with water for a fine coconut milk or with herbs for a spread.
