The group, with MC dlek as its central figure, is regarded as one of the founders of industrial hip hop: dark, noisy production in which hip hop beats merge with a wall of noise and shoegaze like textures. On this album the band sounds menacing and intense, with dense layers of sound and sharp lyrics. Guitarist Adam Jones of Tool contributes to
