Patagonia is still an independent area on this map. At the bottom are inset maps of Galapagos, Hawaii, the southern Shetland Islands, Saint Paul and Trinity Island. It is a French map and the prime meridian therefore runs over Paris and not over Greenwich as on all modern maps. Beautiful decorative title. Wide margins and very suitable for framing. Dimensions: 48 x 60 cm Condition: good very good.
