Clannad - Legend (LP) Piedmont Blues A1 The BarbarianWritten-By – Palmer*Legend is the music Clannad wrote for the British television series Robin of Sherwood. The family band from Donegal combines Irish folk instruments with synthesizers and multi part choral singing, which makes the pieces work as landscape rather than as songs; Robin (The Hooded Man) became the best known track. The album came out originally in 1984 and won the 1985 BAFTA for best original television music, the first time an Irish band took that award.
