Car Seat Headrest - The scholars (LP) Misprint A4 Bass Duo #1 (5:15)Car Seat Headrest was a band of anthems. At least, Teens of Denial (2016) was full of them. After that, they went in a different direction. In that respect, The Scholars is a comeback record. It's an ambitious rock opera about various characters in a fictional college town that listens to Ziggy Stardust, Who's Next , and Smiley Smile . This is the compelling pathos for which we so appreciate Will Toledo and company.
