Original 1940s 40s Vintage Femme Fatale Black Velvet Skirt Suit With Peplum Blazer with Dress Shields:Blazer without Dress Shields Waist: 30” with edges meetingThis gorgeous suit was made in the late 1940s from sumptuous black velvet. It has super strong Femme Fatale vibes with an emphasised hourglass silhouette created through the use of padded shoulders, a tightly nipped waist and a fabulous large pleated peplum. The peplum has been lined with black taffeta to give it stiffness and emphasise the strong shape. The back of the small collar has an interesting ruffled effect and huge turn up cuffs finish off
