A large hat band sits at the base of the crown and comes to a V shaped point at the back

Beautiful seam work at the front and back accentuates the princess cut shape of the coat and huge turn up cuffs finish off the sleeves beautifully

The waist is nipped in as you would expect from a garment of this period and there are two small shirred panels just above the waist seam to emphasise this effect
