The coat was cut in a stunning early wartime silhouette with strong padded shoulders that have also been gathered for a gentle puff. The high neckline featured a stunning grey astrakhan trim in a very angular Art Deco design. Three fabric covered buttons fasten the coat at the neck between the two astrakhan trim lines
