Original Early 1940s 40s Vintage Forest Green Crepe Dress white It has a tiered ruffleThis gorgeous dress was made from forest green crepe in the early 1940s. It is cut to a classic 1940s silhouette with strong padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The front of the dress gives a mock suit effect through the use of a pleated edge. This pleating creates a sweetheart neckline and then runs down the centre of the bodice similar to jacket edges meeting and finally sweeps along the top of the hips to create a mock hem.
