Large 1940s 40s Embroidered Straw Bag 40s the lining is coming loose

the lining is coming loose at the rear vent and the velvet collar has been repaired at some point

The notched collar with v-neckline marks the beginning of a single row of three buttons

however it has a small hole on the shoulder and one on the skirt as well as some soiling to the inside of the collar and a seam split as pictured

It has a black and white cheque collar and pocket trim

It features beautiful floral embroidery as well as a striped design and a contrasting darker straw rim. Inside, the bag is lined in a blue floral fabric. This bag is a lovely large useable size. Width: 14 Height without handles: 10 Height of handles: 4 1 2 Depth: 3 1 2 The bag is in very good condition, with only a few holes and marks to the lining.
