1990s Galanos Couture Madame Gres Inspired Silk Jersey Dress christian dior It is in wonderful vintage1990s Galanos Couture dress which looks very inspired by the French couturier Madame Gres. The dress has an unusual combination of colours; for the bodice, a deep lime green satin and brown and eau de nil silk crepe for the skirt and deep inverted bodice. The satin work has very fine pintucks which fall in a diagonal direction on the dress. The reverse of the dress has a cut out back and fastens to the side with a modern concealed zip that is original
