I looked up the RN number on the tag and it belongs to Dor-Sal of California which seems to have made women's clothing

I looked through old pattern archives and I think this is probably a late 40s maternity pattern. I think it would be fine for someone pregnant or not though. It's got a tent shape, but it's better for a smaller sized person because of the sleeve width. There are 2 large pockets.
