The leaves and flowers spread around this piece with a kinetic bar and natural blue sapphire. Green alkanet, a cousin of (and often mistaken for) the forget me not, traditionally used to create red dye (the root of the word coming from the arabic al henna) and believed to have protective qualities to ward off evil spirits. Hand carved and cast in London in recycled silver with a natural blue princess
