1950s Pauline Trigere Blue Ribbon Printed Black Silk Dress designer-prada Proper button holes finishes onThis is a beautiful example of Trigere's earlier work. She was a master at cut and often fitted garments directly on a model. She was also very hands on and with earlier pieces like this you can be sure that she was personally involved in their construction. The dress is made from a very fine, light silk satin in black. Onto this is a 'ribbon' design in tone of blue that covers the straps and circle the dress at the neck, bust, hips, skirt and hem.
